PDS Tech Commercial is looking for Service and Repair Technicians  to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining and repairing essential machinery. Your Role and Impact: As a Service and Repair Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery. You’ll identify parts for replacement, repair UPS scanners, and ensure everything is running at peak performance. This is a dynamic role where you’ll continuously learn, cross-train on different models, and provide vital support across the facility.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Maintain and Repair Equipment: Work on a variety of mechanical systems, machinery, and components to ensure everything is operating smoothly.
  • Identify and Order Parts: Spot parts that need replacement and place orders to keep our systems up and running.
  • UPS Scanner Repairs: Get hands-on experience with repairing UPS scanners and similar equipment.
  • Cross-Training: Learn and work on different models, staying adaptable and ready for anything.
  • Overtime: Flexibility to work overtime across the facility when needed.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training, apprenticeship, or formal technical education a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Familiar with mechanical systems and repair procedures, able to work independently and use judgment to get tasks done.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different models.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and collaborate with a cross-functional team.
