Job description

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Material Handler for our Dallas, Oregon facility! The selected candidate will help with shipping and receiving.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This role is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon location and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include, but not limited to the following:

  • Receive materials into stock
  • Pick materials and deliver to downstream & upstream, internal customers/departments
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Perform cycle counts and end of month inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system
  • Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast paced, quick turn environment
  • Final clean and packaging for a wide variety of products
  • Prepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS and FedEx websites
  • Verify incoming shipments
  • Arrange occasional LTL and same-day shipments
  • Local pickup and delivery back-up
  • Coordinate with other staff shipping deadlines in a fast-paced, quick-turn environment

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Works in a machine shop environment.
  • May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 60 lbs.

  • Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
  • Occasional local travel may be required.
