Job description

Job Summary:
Deloitte is seeking an experienced Salesforce Lightning Developer to join their Project Delivery Talent Model team. The role involves designing and building customized solutions on the Salesforce platform, focusing on creating responsive user interfaces and collaborating closely with business analysts and Salesforce Architects.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Salesforce Lightning (LWC and Aura).
• Write robust, efficient, and secure Apex code (Controllers, Triggers, Batch processing).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern, user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and external APIs.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Salesforce applications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
• Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
• Ability to lead projects or workstreams
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide clear guidance to others
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+yrs experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong focus on the Lightning framework.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 3+yrs experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Salesforce deployment tools.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification.
• Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Salesforce design patterns and governor limits.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
