YachtSource is a reputable and well-established marine canvas and upholstery company dedicated to providing high-quality interior and exterior upholstery and canvas services for boats and yachts of all sizes. We take pride in our craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction. We work with the highest quality marine fabric as well as isinglass so your new product(s) will withstand the sun, salt and sand. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Boat Fabricator Assistant to join our team and contribute to our success.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Marine Canvas and Upholstery Technician who is passionate about boats and has a strong desire to grow within the marine upholstery and canvas industry. In this role, you will work closely with our team to assist in the creation and installation of custom boat upholstery. You will assist in creating Full Boat Covers, Custom Console and Station Covers, Replacement and Custom Cushions, Enclosures, Bimini Tops, Curtains and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, repair, and install boat upholstery and canvas.
  • Prepare materials and tools for canvas and upholstery projects.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Learn and follow safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Marine canvas and upholstery repair and installation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of upholstery tools and materials.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
