Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Residential Life Coordinator, Marketing for Residential Life, Housing & Food Services. This position provides comprehensive administrative oversight and support for department marketing and communications operations, including coordinating meetings, events, and activities; managing documentation; maintaining databases; and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures. The Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for marketing- and communications-related inquiries, facilitating communication between stakeholders, residents, and department leadership while developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
The Coordinator is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all departmental marketing and communications activities, coordinating both internal and external communication for the on-campus housing operation. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing program and marketing data, preparing assessment reports, tracking outcomes, and making recommendations for improvement based on evaluation findings. Additionally, the Coordinator takes on special projects as assigned, assists with budget monitoring related to marketing initiatives, and provides general support to ensure the successful implementation of departmental communications strategies and the achievement of program objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR
Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related experience:
Experience in program coordination, management or a similar role
Student housing recruitment, marketing, outreach or comparable higher education experience
Schedule and Travel Requirements
The Coordinator maintains full-time office hours to include evening/weekend hours for programs and training; be on call status and react to emergency situations as needed
The Coordinator may be asked to travel to regional and national conferences
