While unpaid, interns may receive academic credit, mentorship, or valuable industry insights. Employers must ensure such internships comply with labor laws, ensuring the role benefits the intern's education rather than replacing paid employees.

These skills and qualities are essential to maximize learning opportunities, contribute effectively to the team, and gain valuable professional experience.

What kinds of responsibilities can I expect as an Unpaid Intern?

As an Unpaid Intern, your responsibilities will vary based on the industry and company, but you can generally expect to assist with basic tasks such as research, data entry, organizing files, and supporting team projects.
