Job description

Job Summary

The Workshop Support Temp supports workshop technicians and warehouse operations by ensuring equipment is maintained in Ready-to-Ship condition. This role performs equipment inspections, routine maintenance support, battery charging, documentation, and logistics handling for aerial work platforms and other machinery.
The position is responsible for loading and unloading machines from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers, performing operational checks, documenting equipment status, and supporting fleet readiness. This role requires experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and equipment operation, including forklifts and aerial work platforms such as scissor lifts and boom lifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections of equipment prior to unloading and report any damage, defects, or shipping discrepancies.
  • Conduct machine inspections and functional testing to verify proper equipment performance.
  • Operate equipment to ensure full operational functionality prior to shipment.
  • Maintain daily battery charging schedules for machines and document charging activity.
  • Safely load and unload equipment from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using forklifts and warehouse equipment.
  • Operate aerial work platforms including scissor lifts and boom lifts in compliance with safety procedures.
  • Use iPad-based inspection apps and digital systems to record inspection results, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
  • Maintain organized equipment storage areas and staging locations to support warehouse efficiency and fleet availability.
  • Other duties assigned are based on the needs of the company.
