Job Title: Receiving and Unloading Associate
Department: GoTrax Parts and Service
Location: Plano, TX
Reports To: Department Manager

Position Summary

The Receiving and Unloading Associate plays a critical role in the efficient operation of warehouse logistics. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and unloading of inbound shipments. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Safely unload trucks, containers, and other delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment
  • Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report findings to the supervisor
  • Sort, label, and stage materials for storage or distribution
  • Maintain accurate records of received items using warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Collaborate with inventory and quality control teams to ensure proper documentation and handling
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety protocols
  • Keep receiving areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Comply with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in warehouse receiving or logistics preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
