Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Certified Diverse Supplier offering innovative solutions for Digital Transformations across various domains. They are seeking a Unix System Administrator to perform computer systems administration in a fast-paced semiconductor test floor environment, primarily focused on Linux administration while also requiring Windows and networking experience.
Responsibilities:
• Perform computer systems administration in a fast-paced semiconductor test floor environment.
• Work closely with semiconductor test engineers and automated test equipment (ATE) operators to ensure maximum efficiency for 24x7 operations and troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues.
• Assign responsibilities include Linux/Windows application installation and upgrades, Linux OS upgrades, host-level network setup, and configuring access to network-attached storage.
• Frequent on-site work at lab locations in Fremont and Santa Clara is required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficient with CentOS and RedHat 5/7/8 Linux OS installation, configuration, and system management on workstation and server hardware
• Proficient with Windows XP, 7, and 10 usage and troubleshooting on laptop and workstation hardware
• Working knowledge and experience with VMWare and KVM hypervisor environments
• Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, SSH, Apache, autofs
• Experience with Linux and Windows based Application installation and configuration and management
• Working knowledge of license management using FlexNet and similar licensing tools
• Experience with printer management in Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with writing and troubleshooting task automation scripts on Windows and Linux OS
• Experience using ansible for managing multiple servers
• Proficient with computer networking and endpoint troubleshooting
• Able to communicate effectively with end users, ATE vendors, and other IT specialists for troubleshooting of complex issues relating to test equipment operations
Preferred:
• Experience with Verigy 93K and Teradyne Test platform applications
• Experience with Advantest & Teradyne diagnostic and calibration protocol
• Knowledge of Linux containers and orchestration
