Job description

The Director, Regional Digital Sales will play a key role in driving the company's sales initiatives and revenue growth, building a local and regional revenue stream while actively developing new business opportunities. This role will work closely with local market sales leadership, Account Executives, and Business Development leads to ensure the company's centralized resources are utilized to maximize sales opportunities.

This role requires a strategic thinker, effective collaborator, and proactive individual contributor who excels at identifying, pursuing, and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving sales, building strong client relationships, and exceeding revenue goals. Executive presence, a deep understanding of digital sales, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures are essential.

The Regional Digital Sales Manage will leverage digital sales expertise and strong relationships with digital agencies, direct clients, and regional brand planning offices to aggressively secure new business while also supporting Univision's account executives across all digital and traditional platforms. This role is responsible for individual revenue contributions, developing high-value accounts, executing sales strategies, and driving business expansion. The position includes a strong emphasis on personal sales efforts, including direct client engagement, ownership of key presentations, and the closing of high-value deals.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Drive individual business development efforts, including identifying, engaging, and securing new regional and local accounts.
  • Act as a key contributor in revenue generation by owning client relationships, leading sales presentations, and negotiating deals.
  • Manage fiscal year account/business planning and deliver regular sales forecasts, working with local and national sales leadership to create and exceed local and regional sales goals.
  • Leverage Univision's unique digital assets and integrated platforms to create innovative local, regional, and national client advertising campaigns, working across internal partner teams.
  • Develop and drive sales plans through multi-market regional and local teams while also securing business independently.
  • Manage all functions of sales management, including strategic account mapping, forecasting, sales campaign development, and identifying opportunities to exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish new accounts and manage these accounts as an individual contributor, while also providing support to account executives and executive leadership.
  • Monitor key performance metrics at both the individual and team level, ensuring goals are met and exceeded.
  • Align sales management efforts with company-wide initiatives, key tentpole events, and areas of positive growth for Univision.
  • Actively participate in and lead direct client sales activity, sales calls, and presentations, ensuring strong market penetration and revenue performance

YOU HAVE:

  • 5-10 years of media sales or account management at the multi-market, local, and regional level, including a minimum of 2-3 years in a management capacity, with 2+ years of digital experience preferred.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth, with a demonstrated track record in closing new business.
  • Strong business development skills, with experience engaging executive-level contacts at agencies and brands.
  • Passion for digital advertising and the ability to sell in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Deep market knowledge of agencies, clients, and competitive offerings at both the regional and national levels.
  • Expertise in digital sales, including streaming/OTT, video, display, audio, social, branded content, email, and programmatic solutions.
  • Strong business developmentexpertisewitha track recordof securing and growing new accounts.
  • High-level sales leadership and individual contributor ability, withexpertisein strategic sales and consultative selling.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, organizational agility, and the capacity to work across a complex, matrixed environment, interacting with all levels of the company, including senior leadership.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment, with a strong ability to balance sales leadership with direct sales responsibilities.

Salary Range $125,000 - 155,0000 + Bonus
