Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health and substance use needs of clients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based, solution-focused interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions via telehealth, utilizing advanced technology to maintain rapport and deliver effective care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic and coordinated care.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review sessions to elevate the quality of care and share clinical insights with colleagues.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health strategies, recovery processes, and the tools available for successful recovery.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with substance use issues in a detoxification setting. This population often experiences complex mental health challenges that co-occur with addiction, requiring sensitivity, understanding, and specialized therapeutic techniques. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through initial recovery stages, helping them address underlying issues while fostering resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with patients in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing solution-focused therapy methodologies and other evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage patients and families while fostering a supportive environment.
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team-focused environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detoxification or inpatient recovery setting is highly desirable.
