Description
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Universal Member Service Representative to join our team.
The Universal Member Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional, relationship-focused, high-quality member service to Alta Vista Credit Union members both teller and platform functions. This position supports operational efficiency within the branch by providing flexible coverage and ensuring consistency in the member experience. The Universal Member Service Representative actively identifies opportunities to deepen member relationships in support of Credit Union sales efforts, ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
โ€ข Functions across teller and platform function responsibilities while consulting with members and providing solutions to match their needs through the promotion of Credit Union products and services.
โ€ข Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, and cash advances.
โ€ข Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to established cash handling and dual control procedures.
โ€ข Open and maintain new memberships, checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and other deposit products.
โ€ข Assist members with consumer loan applications, including gathering documentation and explaining ancillary products such as GAP, MRC, and Debt Protection when applicable.
โ€ข Educate members on digital services including online banking, mobile banking, debit cards, bill pay, and other electronic services.
โ€ข Proactively identify cross-sell and referral opportunities that align with member needs and financial goals.
โ€ข Maintain lobby awareness and assist with managing member flow to reduce wait times and enhance service delivery.
โ€ข Support branch opening and closing procedures as assigned.
โ€ข Collaborate with branch leadership and team members to ensure adequate coverage and operational continuity.
โ€ข Maintain current knowledge of Alta Vista's products, services, systems, and policies to provide accurate and efficient service.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, CIP, and all applicable NCUA regulations and internal policies.
โ€ข Complete required training within designated timeframes.
โ€ข Participate in branch meetings, training sessions, and community engagement initiatives that support Alta Vista's mission to serve and empower our community.
โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.
