This role supports our Detox Center, which focuses on holistic recovery approaches tailored to our clients’ individual journeys. As a remote social worker, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, allowing you to tailor your work hours to fit both your life and the needs of our patients. While working independently, you will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to promoting comprehensive care for those in acute distress.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to understand the unique circumstances of each patient.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring that cultural considerations and personal goals are integrated.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), to promote healthy coping mechanisms and resilience.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress, coordinating care with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

• Foster patient education by providing psychoeducation that empowers clients and their families, equipping them with tools and strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.

• Regularly perform and analyze outcome assessments to evaluate treatment efficacy and refine plans as necessary, thereby optimizing patient care.

• Stay engaged with ongoing professional development by remaining informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice.

• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification and transitioning through recovery from substance use disorders, many of whom have experienced significant trauma or adversity. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe and supportive space as clients work towards healing and recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, along with an active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an integrated healthcare team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, especially the ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base and understand cultural nuances.

• Experience in mental health counseling, particularly with populations dealing with substance use issues, will be considered an advantage.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms is beneficial due to the remote work setting.

• Knowledge of evidence-based intervention techniques and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.

• Annual base salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
