Unity Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing standardized assessments, and determining individualized treatment recommendations based on assessment results.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, engaging them in goal-setting and ensuring their full understanding of the plan of care.
• Implement treatment protocols that are adapted to patients' specific conditions and the latest advancements in healthcare practices, applying evidence-based techniques.
• Consult and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, documenting patient progress and necessary adjustments to the treatment plan based on evolving health needs.
• Complete discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care, with meticulous documentation that outlines patients' journeys, including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress summaries.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management skills by meeting productivity expectations and maintaining an organized schedule, while also being punctual for meetings.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to raise awareness about the clinic's services and our commitment to quality care.
• Contribute to departmental goals by actively engaging in quality improvement practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities, enhancing both personal and organizational competencies, and serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
• Support the development of a positive patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs and preferences.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and familiarity with various treatment modalities and techniques.
