• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients to identify and achieve personalized treatment goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments and stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices to provide prevention-focused therapy.
• Develop, implement, and review treatment plans, adapting interventions as necessary while documenting client progress in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health providers, placement agencies, and community resources to create a comprehensive support network for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date session notes and documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations.
• Participate actively in all staff meetings and contribute to ongoing discussions about clinical practices and organizational culture.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients range from those needing preventive mental health services to individuals with more complex psychological conditions. Your expertise in trauma-informed care and ability to build rapport will be crucial in creating a safe space for clients to share their stories and work towards recovery.

• Must hold a valid license as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral processes is essential for effective client support.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and connect with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to foster rapport and create trusting relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities and a commitment to professional development.

• Previous experience in outpatient settings or community mental health practice is preferable.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and insurance credentialing practices.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
