Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify incoming patients' needs and collaboratively establish effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth.

  • Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, effectively supporting patients through acute mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients on mental health conditions and their treatment, as well as available community resources, enhancing their understanding and empowerment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities to stay abreast of latest practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Our patient demographics reflect the community we serve in Fresno, California, which means you will engage with clients of different ages, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural identities. The primary focus will be on addressing ongoing mental health challenges while fostering resilience and promoting positive life changes.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Proven skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating actionable treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Experience in delivering effective therapeutic interventions both in group and individual settings.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong client-therapist relationships.
  • Strong ethical judgment and professionalism in maintaining boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.
  • A team-oriented mindset, capable of contributing positively in a multidisciplinary setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a mental health clinic or community healthcare setting.
