Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their social, emotional, and psychological needs, ensuring each plan is tailored to individual circumstances.
• Deliver high-quality counseling services, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote healing and growth.
• Develop and implement targeted service plans aligned with clients' goals, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans as needed to ensure effective progress.
• Advocate for clients’ access to essential resources, rights, and opportunities within the community, including housing, healthcare, and legal services.
• Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing your insights to enhance our offerings and secure funding through grant reporting.
• Network and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and fellow professionals, to expand our impact and improve services.
• Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing training, fostering a cooperative learning environment and embracing feedback for personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse clientele composed of individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues, addiction, trauma, and economic hardships. Our work extends particularly to marginalized communities in Oakland, California, advancing social equity through accessible and inclusive services.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for this position.
• A nuanced understanding of social justice, advocacy methodologies, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills that enhance client and team interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, new hires will be eligible for a sign-on bonus upon joining our team.
