The Lead Engagement Manager delivers measurable impact for our Communications, Media, Entertainment, & Gaming (CMEG) customers as well as at the Business Unit (BU) or Regional team level in the Forward Deployed Engineering organization. You will own and independently scope multi-quarter, highly complex initiatives to solve problems with no clear precedent, operating with high autonomy in high-stakes environments.
The impact you will have:
  • Regional Impact: Drive excellence at the BU/Region level, contributing to team-level booking targets and consumption goals.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Navigate complex regional, regulatory, or market-specific complexities across multiple countries.
  • Mentorship: Coach and support junior Engagement Managers, acting as a go-to resource for peers on complex projects.
  • Sales Strategy: Shape account strategy to align with client goals and lead the sales of complex Professional Services & Training (PS&T) offerings.
  • Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders across multiple engagements.

Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
