Job Overview & Responsibilities
As a Configuration Analysis Specialist with ULA you will manage the configuration of our engineering and manufacturing products through the use of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) System, Teamcenter. You'll arrange and coordinate the Configuration Management Review Board (CMRB) meetings to ensure the preparation and coordination of engineering changes to ensure compliance to engineering and configuration management procedures, company and industry standards.
The role will include duties and responsibilities such as:
  • Perform duties related to reviewing pre-released drawings and documents for completeness and adherence to industry standards
  • Identify data discrepancy within engineering drawings and documents
  • Configuration identification, change control, status, verification, audits and data management
  • Submit configuration status, maintain delivery schedules and facilitate change review boards
  • Establish and maintain required configuration management records
  • Assist in coordinating changes to processes using defined change management practices while maintaining configuration control

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Effective communication, facilitation and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and learning new databases
  • Knowledge of configuration management processes and procedures
  • Experience with configuration identification, change control, status accounting, audit and data management
  • Experience working in an EIA-649, ISO and AS9100 environment
    Ability to review and assess data integrity against standards and train others to understand and adhere to those standards
  • Ability to develop metrics to provide visibility of performance
    Experience with engineering, production and launch operations
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of Model Base Engineering

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with logical, mechanical, and/or electrical interfaces.
  • Systems engineering disciplines performing technical planning, system integration, verification, validation and risk assessment activities.
  • Working knowledge of Teamcenter (EPDM), Jira, and/or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software (such as NX).
  • Engineering requirements documentation research skills.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver only): $57,550.00 - $95,916.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
