About The Role
The Work Management Specialist supports on-line work control process, assists with the development of work packages, ensures reporting, and capture of work completed, tracks work order status, and ensures all project documentation is collected for project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish office functions to support the execution of work in the field
  • Primary point of communications with the customer on work order scheduling, status, changes, and closeout.
  • Provide field support for work package revision/field changes, problem resolution, and work package/work order interpretation.
  • Coordinate with customer for order and delivery of major materials
  • Coordinate with Billing function to facilitate timely, accurate invoicing
  • Coordinate activities of other office personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications
  • An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree; High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years of Construction Industry experience. Power utilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing/maintaining project plans and schedules is required.
  • Experience reading, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating provisions of contracts is preferred.
  • Must have experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions.
  • Must be proficient with PC operating systems and in several basic software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Must be skilled in oral and written communication and fundamentals of work scheduling.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior, integrity and trust.
  • Must actively demonstrate the United Utility company values and support the United Utility Ethics and Standards.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of United Utility and client technical manuals and procedures; to pass United Utility and client specific training and qualifications as required; subject to personnel call out as required in support of nuclear station emergent work requirements; to work overtime, to include shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed; and be able to pass all background and screening requirements for the position, to include drug and/or alcohol screening.

The salary range for this position is $25.00-$28.00 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms.
