Job description

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time Senior Project Scheduling Manager - Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia.
Responsible for overseeing the Scheduling Department within our Mission-Critical division. You will lead scheduling operations and personnel across a national portfolio of complex data center projects, ensuring scheduling consistency, accuracy, and alignment with overall project goals and division standards.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
Job Summary
  • Directs and manages Scheduling Department, ensuring consistent processes, reporting standards, and schedule integrity across all Mission Critical projects
  • Serves as company's subject matter expert for scheduling best practices, critical path methodology, and planning strategy for electrical construction in the data center sector
  • Develops and maintains integrated master schedules and project-specific schedules in collaboration with project teams, field leadership, and trade partners
  • Establishes department-wide protocols for schedule development, updates, forecasting, look-ahead planning, and schedule recovery
  • Performs schedule risk assessments, delay analysis, and reporting to support executive decision-making and client communications
  • Partners with Project Controls, Estimating, and Operations to support preconstruction planning, procurement schedules, and manpower forecasting
  • Provides mentorship and leadership to all schedulers within the department, supporting team growth and accountability
  • Conducts regular audits, jobsite visits, and coordination meetings to monitor progress and maintain alignment with contractual milestones
  • Position requires travel to project sites

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field or trade experience also considered
  • Minimum 10 or more years of construction scheduling experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing scheduling personnel or departments
  • Extensive background in electrical construction and mission-critical/data center environments
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling efforts across multiple large-scale, fast-paced projects
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, resource
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
