Primary function of a Lube Truck Driver:

Safely operate a lube truck to perform on-site fueling, lubrication, and minor maintenance services for heavy equipment. This role supports field operations by ensuring construction machinery remains operational, properly serviced, and compliant with environmental and safety regulations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform routine lubrication and fluid servicing of heavy construction equipment
  • Fuel machines on-site and maintain accurate fueling logs
  • Inspect equipment for visible maintenance needs and report issues to the maintenance team
  • Safely handle and dispose of oils, lubricants, and other materials in accordance with environmental policies
  • Maintain detailed service records including fuel usage and maintenance activities
  • Track service intervals and ensure equipment receives timely servicing
  • Manage inventory of fuel, lubricants, filters, and other service-related materials on the truck
  • Communicate with operators and field personnel to coordinate refueling and service needs
  • Support mechanics in minor equipment repair tasks as needed
  • Operate in accordance with OSHA standards and UIG safety protocols
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support maintenance operations

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience operating or maintaining a lube truck or similar equipment preferred
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment fueling and lubrication procedures
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety and environmental compliance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field staff and maintenance teams
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented

Physical Demands:

  • Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of items up to 50 lbs
  • Climbing on and off trucks and heavy equipment as needed
  • Extended periods of standing and walking on uneven terrain

REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of Age
  • Able to pass a Drug Test
  • Legally eligible to work in the US

Additional Requirements for Craftworkers:

  • Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license required)
  • Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
  • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)
