Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Managers and Regional Sales Manager’s on inside sales duties for the preparation of turnkey projects and non-standard grinding machines
  • Develops technical presentations for potential customers
  • Builds BOM for designated machine sales
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's and vendor production and delivery schedules
  • Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations that effect schedules
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database
  • Attends trade shows

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and 3-7 related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstration professional verbal and written communication across all levels
  • Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask while adapting to shifting priorities working on tight deadlines
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume

Preferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience):

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
