Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy, and personable Premium Buffet Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be the face of our buffet, executing live-cooking stations and interacting directly with guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a pristine workspace, and delivers exceptional hospitality with every dish.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00

This position will remain open until October 16, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Live-Action Cooking: Efficiently operate a high-volume brunch omelet station, executing custom orders to guest preference with speed and precision.

  • Precision Carving: Professionally carve premium proteins at the buffet station, including prime rib and pork roast, ensuring proper portion control and presentation.

  • Griddle Operations: Prepare fresh waffles, pancakes, and other breakfast/brunch features to order.

  • Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional, and engaging customer service as a representative of the culinary team.

  • Station Management: Set up, maintain, and break down action stations, ensuring strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience Required: Proven prior experience running live-action cooking stations, specifically omelet stations and protein carving stations.

  • Culinary Skill: Strong knife skills and comfort working with commercial griddles, carving tools, and station equipment.

  • Stamina & Pace: Ability to work quickly and maintain a calm, professional demeanor during peak high-volume service windows.

  • Hospitality Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a presentation-conscious attitude (clean uniform, organized workspace).

  • Certifications: Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) is highly preferred.
