Job description

Job Summary:

As a Credit Analyst at United Auto Credit, you'll review and manage loan applications, ensuring they meet lending guidelines and are processed efficiently. You'll follow up with dealerships to secure contracts, restructure non-prime deals as needed, and make sound underwriting decisions based on credit analysis. Strong communication and relationship-building with dealerships and internal teams are key to success in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Credit Analyst at UACC, you will:

  • Engage with Dealerships:Follow up with dealerships on automated decisioned loan applications to secure contracts and build lasting relationships.

  • Review and Approve Loans:Ensure that sales contracts align with program specifications or provide alternative solutions when necessary to meet lending guidelines.

  • Build Strong Relationships:Communicate regularly with dealers, the sales/marketing team, and funders to collaborate on solutions that drive success.

  • Negotiate and Restructure Deals:Work with dealerships to structure and restructure non-prime deals, ensuring the right balance between risk and reward.

  • Analyze Credit Data:Evaluate credit reports, customer information, and application structures to make informed, profitable underwriting decisions.

  • Achieve Your Goals:Meet monthly targets for production, quality, and customer satisfaction, driving both personal and team success.

  • Assess and Manage Risk:Carefully review loan applications to assess creditworthiness and ensure that all contracts meet company standards.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate ranges between $22-$26 an hour, based on experience

  • Uncapped Bonuses, Averaging $1,800 monthly

  • Expected Total Compensation including Average Bonuses =$60K - $73k

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Consumer auto finance or underwriting in financial services experience preferred

  • No certifications or licenses required

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and Teams
