We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Unit Coordinator to support our growing Project Management Office (PMO) and utility operations teams. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in project coordination, project controls, business operations, financial tracking, process improvement, or utility project support who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview
The Business Unit Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting project managers, business operations, financial processes, and organizational initiatives across large-scale electric utility projects. This position requires strong communication, analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills while supporting transmission, distribution, and substation programs.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Business Operations Support
  • Support project management teams to ensure efficient execution of daily business operations.
  • Coordinate communications, meeting schedules, project updates, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Assist with project documentation, invoicing, client closeout activities, and administrative processes.
  • Provide project management support for large electric transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
  • Monitor project metrics and operational performance indicators.
Process Improvement & Business Analysis
  • Analyze business workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Support change management initiatives, business process optimization, and operational transformation projects.
  • Develop and maintain reports, procedures, business documentation, and process maps.
  • Align business processes, systems, and organizational structures with company objectives and strategic initiatives.
Financial & Project Controls Support
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and project controls activities.
  • Support documentation and review of internal controls and compliance processes.
  • Develop operational metrics and reporting tools to improve decision-making.
  • Analyze project performance data and provide recommendations to leadership.
Stakeholder Coordination
