Job description

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2835
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Low census possible in hour increments, typically in 4-hour increments; contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Care for Neuro ICU patient population including stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients in an 8-bed Neuro unit
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery team
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background and strong Neuro assessment skills required
• 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Any color
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

The ICU department includes a dedicated Neuro Critical Care unit as well as a Medical/Surgical ICU, providing advanced care for complex patient populations including neurological and neurosurgical cases. The organization supports a collaborative care environment with access to Neurosurgery and interventional services, and maintains high standards for patient care and staff performance.
