It must consider the overall vision of the organization in its decision-making and in the choice of its interventions. In a “Living Environment” approach: She takes responsibility for a range of nursing care and collaborates in the administration of therapeutic, preventive, diagnostic and research procedures. It mobilizes the members of the team around a concerted intervention plan meeting personalized expectations and needs and adapted to the resident's abilities. It encourages the participation of the family and those close to them. She checks and evaluates the quality of the interventions made by the team members. It ensures the continuity and monitoring of care and services by establishing effective means of communication. She exercises mobilizing leadership among her team both through her expertise and through her “being” skills by adopting professional behaviors that reflect listening, respect, understanding and empathy. In her administrative role, the assistant nurse head of unit assumes specific responsibilities which ensure the quality and safety of care and services offered in the establishment. In addition, she replaces the unit head nurse during her regular absences. For us, residents and their loved ones are at the heart of our action! REQUIREMENTS: Hold a DEC in nursing or a BAC in nursing sciences OIIQ practice permit Experience of at least one year in a short-term setting or two years in active geriatrics Experience of at least one year in a long-term care residential center Be focused on the customer experience (our attributes: human, reassuring, organized and dynamic) Ability to work interdisciplinarily, analytical ability, ability to make judgment relevant to the role, ability to manage conflict situations and ability to maintain positive and stimulating interpersonal relationships Leadership and organizational skills English (asset) Practical knowledge of computers
