Manager LTC Nursing Unit
Location: HighPointe
Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo

Job Description
This position provides leadership on a 24 hours/7 days per week basis, to the nursing care team in order to provide for the residents/patients needs while under medical care in the Long Term Care facility as well as to assess resident needs, plan, implement and evaluate residents/patients nursing care. The Nurse Manager has the responsibility and accountability for operations, hiring and terminating staff; disciplining and counseling staff and for the clinical and skilled nursing activities in order to provide quality resident care. The Nurse Manager is also responsible for the quality improvement outcomes and activities of the unit to which they manage.

Education And Credentials
Associates degree required. BS - Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience
5 years of experience in a clinical setting required. 1 year of experience in clinical leadership required. 1 year of experience in specific clinical service line of assigned department required. Registered Nurse upon hire required.
