• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evaluations to interpret clients' mental health issues and formulate effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care tailored to each client’s needs.
• Establish clear therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and routinely assess their progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize secure telehealth platforms to offer virtual therapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer the convenience of remote sessions.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to fulfill ethical obligations and regulatory requirements, including progress notes and treatment updates.
• Participate in regular team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, reinforcing your clinical expertise and keeping abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. As a mental health counselor at Glimmering Hope Health Care Inc., you will play a significant role in empowering clients on their journey to mental wellness. You will implement therapeutic interventions that promote personal growth, resilience, and coping strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• A valid state license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, creating a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
• Exhibiting a strong sense of empathy and a non-judgmental approach to clients' concerns.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle caseloads and meet administrative deadlines.

• Experience working in a private practice or outpatient setting, particularly with varied demographics and a diverse range of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and digital health platforms that enhance client engagement and treatment accessibility.
• A background in using cognitive-behavioral techniques and other evidence-based therapies in practice.
