Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments and devise tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise programs

• Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary conferences to ensure coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (for example, in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory
