A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Union Analyst to manage high-volume union payroll processing, compliance, and reporting activities. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely union dues, contributions, and payroll configurations while partnering with internal teams and external unions to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance.

Senior Payroll Union Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly union dues and employer contribution payments across multiple unions with strict deadlines; reconcile payment requests, confirm payments with PTP teams, and provide required supporting documentation to unions.
  • Maintain and update payroll configurations within ERP systems, including union dues, contributions, and contract rates; collaborate with IT on system changes, testing, and interface file management while troubleshooting payroll earnings and deduction errors.
  • Review and manage employee union-related elections (dues withholding, 401k, FSA), process manual adjustments, and support data verification to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
  • Partner with Labor Relations, Accounting, Operations, and external unions to resolve inquiries, discrepancies, and audit requests; research and respond to pension, health plan, and payment verification requests.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, manage annual union audit data requests, and support special projects while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Senior Payroll Union Analyst Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-volume union payroll data and processing.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems required; SAP EC Payroll is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP system configuration and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting payroll results and costing within the General Ledger.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation rules and union payroll processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) and experience with data/query/reporting tools.
  • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, including training/reviewing work.
