Overview

UW Credit Union is seeking a Financial Consultant in Madison, WI.ย  Join our wealth management team that is dedicated to helping UWCU members identify and achieve their long-term goals.ย  This position offers the opportunity to build a client base through the Credit Union referral network, leads, and member and community education. Wealth Management at UW Credit Union offers investment products and services through LPL Financial. This position will cover multiple branches in the Madison Market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline built with referrals from the Credit Union, existing clients, and through conducting outreach to lead lists and other prospecting activities.
  • Establish, build and maintain strong internal relationships across all lines of business at UWCU to ensure consistent and frequent referral activities.
  • Provides tailored advice to members and clients through financial planning.
  • Effectively balances responsibilities for business development, financial planning, client meetings and follow-up, internal partner training and coaching, personal development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for strong partnership, coordination and collaboration with Wealth Advisor(s) on shared branches.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
