Job Description

In this supporting role to the Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and growing Ecommerce traffic and sales through merchandising, marketing, and promotional techniques for the U.S. website. This individual is responsible for regularly supporting our Ecommerce day-to-day operations and digital initiatives while ensuring our brand DNA is upheld at all times.
Major responsibilities include working with various local and global teams to ensure timely Ecommerce order processing, as well as identifying, evaluating, and implementing ongoing user experience improvements to our website; working to maximize online sales while supporting Omni Channel initiatives and special projects.
Profile
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support local Sales Planning, Customer Care, and Logistics teams, to ensure Ecommerce inventory needs are met and online orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with US Ecommerce Manager, US Marketing team, and Swiss HQ Digital Media team to track Digital Marketing Campaign performances and budgets, while ensuring financial procedures are timely managed (PO's, Budget Tracking, Invoicing, etc.)
  • Continuously evaluate and propose ongoing user experience improvements to our website via landing page content updates, onsite search optimizations, traffic/audience analyses, etc.
  • Liase with Switzerland HQ, U.S. team, and 3rd party partners to support digital marketing campaign optimizations and reporting with an emphasis on efficiency and growth.
  • Ensure timely product launches and merchandising updates are applied to website.
  • Support ad-hoc Ecommerce and/or Omni Channel initiatives/special projects as needed.
  • Initiate & drive actions based on website analytics & sales performance data and produce actionables KPI reporting and monthly recaps.
  • Optimize SEO and website landing pages with the intent of increasing click-through and conversion rates.
  • Support paid & organic search, social media, email marketing and other online acquisition tactics.

Professional Requirements
Professional & Educational Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of digital commerce experience (website operations, order management).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, with flexibility to quickly change objectives and strategies as needed.
  • Understanding of the current e-commerce and digital marketing landscape with a passion for online shopping and new technologies.
  • Experience working with a CMS/CRM to manage a website (SalesForce or Magento experience a Plus).
  • Experience with SEO, digital advertising and other online acquisition tactics.
  • Able to utilize analytics to identify website friction points and areas of opportunity.
  • Bachelor's Degree, or relevant technical education.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership, ability to work autonomously, and navigate/succeed in ambiguity.

Preferred Skills:
  • Multi-national team experience.
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX), SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, online trends.
  • Social Media experience (paid & organic).
  • Copywriting is a plus.
