Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining various types of piping systems. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. We are looking for candidates who are willing to do some traveling as we do have occasional job sites out of town.

$500 sign on bonus


Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or power tools
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and assembly
- Install pipe hangers and supports to ensure proper alignment and stability
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment
- Repair or replace damaged pipes or fittings as needed

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for cutting, threading, and bending pipes
- Experience with pipe threading machines and power tools commonly used in pipefitting
- Familiarity with different types of piping materials and their applications
- Knowledge of welding techniques for joining pipes together
- Ability to assemble and fabricate piping systems according to specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
