As a union pipefitter, your primary responsibilities are to fabricate and prepare pipes and attach them to a wall. Your duties include planning pipe systems, designing layouts, inspecting work sites, testing lines, measuring and marking pipes for cutting and welding, and securing pipes with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
