About the Role

We are seeking a Packing Relief Operator to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Packing Relief Operator, you will ensure uninterrupted packing operations by relieving team members during breaks, maintaining essential supplies, and supporting daily production while upholding food safety, quality, and GMP standards.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2PM - 10:30PM
  • Weekend Availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $23.00

 

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Support packing and wrapping operations to maintain continuous production flow
  • Relieve team members across packing positions during breaks and lunches
  • Ensure packing equipment and stations are stocked with required supplies
  • Maintain compliance with GMPs, food safety, quality, allergen, and HACCP standards
  • Monitor product quality to ensure it meets company standards and specifications
  • Complete accurate, legible production and quality documentation
  • Communicate food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or a food production environment
  • Ability to read, write, and complete clear and accurate documentation
  • Understanding of GMPs and food safety practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Prior experience in packing, wrapping, or relief operator roles
  • Experience working in food manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with allergen control and HACCP programs
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
