Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join a fully remote team focused on remediating application security vulnerabilities across a portfolio of enterprise banking applications. This team supports a modern Microsoft technology stack, working primarily with ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, and deployment technologies including Harness and OpenShift.
Summary:
In this role, you will partner closely with development and security teams to identify, remediate, test, and deploy fixes for application vulnerabilities while ensuring stability and code quality. Candidates should have strong hands-on development experience and familiarity with modern deployment processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience with ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core and C#
* Experience supporting .NET Framework and/or .NET applications
* Experience using Harness and Git for source control and deployment processes
* Experience performing unit testing and validating code changes
* Familiarity with OpenShift deployments and containerized environments
* Advanced SQL Server skills, including stored procedures and query optimization
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on remote Agile teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience remediating application security vulnerabilities
* Banking or financial services experience
* Exposure to Temenos T24
* Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security concepts
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
