About Our Client:

We are partnering with a family-owned, well-established commercial glazing contractor with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and long-standing relationships throughout the industry. This company has built its name on integrity, craftsmanship, and taking care of its people.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Glazier to join their union commercial glass team. This individual will provide hands-on leadership in the field while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise field crews on commercial glazing projects
  • Install and oversee installation of Storefront systems, Curtain wall systems and Metal panel systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer and project requirements
  • Maintain job site safety in compliance with OSHA and union standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, GCs, and other trades
  • Identify and resolve field challenges efficiently
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial glass experience
  • Strong experience with storefront, curtain wall, and metal panel systems
  • Union membership or willingness to join
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Proven leadership ability on active job sites
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting 75+ lbs
  • Valid driver’s license
