Job Description Summary:

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing BESS construction resulting in safe and successful project execution.
This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Yerington, NV and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and manageday-to-dayfieldoperations ofenergy storageprojects.

  • Mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, craftpersonneland other junior level employees.

  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training to develop teammembersskills and capabilities.

  • Hire and develop craft labor employees.

  • Develop and implement operations proceduresandtools for continuous improvementand consistency between project teams.

  • Ensure implementation andconsistent adherence to the Energy Storage Divisions' Quality Control plan.

  • Conduct site visits to assess the progress of work and adherence to company policies and best practices.

  • Foster a culture of safetyfirst, accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Supportinthe creation of project schedules,labor/equipmentplans, constructionsequencingand execution planningon multiple projects within the region.

  • Review design documents for constructability and provide feedback.

  • Support the development of the Bill of Material- takeoffs.

  • Coordinate with engineering,procurement,estimatingand other internal departments as needed.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including project owners, utilities, regulatoryagencies,vendors,and contractors

  • Track operational status, performancemetricsand project updates to senior management

  • Enforce safety procedures andparticipatein the Safety Training Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote professional development and leadership growth

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum7yearsofapplicablework-relatedexperienceinutilityscale renewable construction and/orindustrial/commercial electricalconstruction.

  • 5yearsof prior experience in a supervisory role preferred.

  • 3years of prior experience inutility scale energy storage construction preferred.

  • Demonstratedhigh levelof capability to work within union labor agreements.

  • Experience inmanaging union labor and subcontractors.

  • State licensed electrician or journeymanpreferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in operations management,includingbudgeting, resourceallocationand performance optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning.

  • Proficient instandard PC applications

  • Direct relevant industry experienceNFPA 70e "Qualified Person"preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment

  • OSHA30-hourconstruction safety certification

  • Ability to travel and work in varied environments as required by project needs

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability towork,analyze,troubleshootand prioritize problems independently

  • Strongknowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices

  • Effective written and verbal English communication skills

  • Strongorganizationalskills with ability to prioritize and coordinate

  • Validdriver'slicense and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

  • Requires frequent stooping,bending,crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting50 or morelbs.
