Description

A Culinary Cook/Expeditor/Cashier Team Member is a friendly seasonal hourly employee that safely prepares, assembles and deliveries food to our Guests with exceptional Guest Service. Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure requires for each team member to have a Jefferson County food certification.


Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stock and set up kitchen.
  • Perform cooking duties and prepare food for delivery to guest by expediter or cashier.
  • Ensure high quality and freshness.
  • Exercise portion control and minimize food waste.
  • Be friendly, smile, and greet Guests.
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed professional appearance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow all health department requirements.
  • Adhere to all credit card handling procedures.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Jefferson County Food Handlers Card.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
  • Must be proficient with basic mathematics.
  • Must be able to work well with others and work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock weighing up to thirty pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and footstool.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, humid, dry, sunny, rainy, and windy weather.
