Job description

Are you a Union Carpenter Apprentice?  Looking to become one? Want to be part of a strong & effective team? 

If you are hard-working, ethical, savvy, experienced, and good at what you do...we want to hear from you. This is an opportunity for a Carpenter Apprentice to join an experienced and fun team as we build a mid-sized Woman-Owned Commercial General Contractor based in Redmond, WA and working throughout the Puget Sound Area with premier clients.  The night shift schedule is generally 4 ten-hour shifts per week (typically 7pm-5am or 9pm-7am.)  The day shift is generally 5 eight-hour shifts per week. We offer our carpenters with 12 months tenure a 401(k) plan with 4% matching contribution.

Duties will be varied. They may include:

  • Identify any workplace safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize them
  • Perform quality workmanship which conforms to Corti quality standards, client expectations, plans and specifications
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and work areas

Education & Experience:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver License 
  • Ability to read electronic plans and use computer software such as MS Office
  • Excellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills

Compensation set by Carpenter's Union: 

  • Apprentice 1 - 8: $40.19 - $63.63 per hour
