Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance SEO Content Writer (native English) based in Netherlands.

This role focuses on creating high-impact, search-optimized website content designed to improve visibility, attract qualified traffic, and drive conversions in a competitive digital landscape. You will be responsible for writing and refining service pages and landing pages that are both user-focused and fully aligned with SEO best practices. The work requires a strong understanding of keyword strategy, search intent, and content optimization techniques tailored specifically to the U.S. market. You will collaborate in a performance-driven environment where content quality is measured through rankings, engagement, and conversion outcomes. This position is ideal for a writer who combines strong editorial skills with technical SEO expertise and a commercial mindset. Your work will directly influence website performance and customer acquisition outcomes.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for producing high-performing SEO content that improves search visibility and drives measurable business results, including:

  • Writing keyword-optimized service pages and landing pages designed to improve rankings and conversion rates
  • Conducting keyword research and applying high-performing search terms aligned with user intent and business goals
  • Ensuring correct application of SEO best practices, including keyword placement, density, readability, and optimization structure
  • Tailoring content specifically for the U.S. audience, ensuring tone, intent, and messaging alignment
  • Monitoring content performance and applying SEO insights to improve engagement and traffic outcomes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to refine messaging and ensure consistency across web content
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled SEO writer with strong technical knowledge of search optimization and a proven ability to deliver measurable results, including:

  • Extensive experience in SEO content writing with demonstrated success in improving rankings and conversions
  • Strong understanding of keyword optimization, SEO metrics, and content performance analysis
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
  • Native-level English proficiency with excellent written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of U.S. market search behavior and audience expectations
  • Ability to independently research, implement, and optimize high-converting keyword strategies
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance SEO requirements and readability
  • Experience writing for service-based or lead-generation websites is a strong advantage
