Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The SAP HCM Payroll Support Analyst is an SAP functional analyst position responsible for SAP / Success Factors production support and ongoing development. The position will have responsibilities focused on Employee Central Payroll (ECP) . There can also be requirements to support systems that interface with ECP.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*:
  • Leads initiatives/projects by partnering and prioritizing with business owners to perform process analysis, gather business requirements and document enhancement specifications to align with company goals.
  • Leads support for Barton Malow's SAP / Success Factors systems, including custom functionality, and releases/upgrades.
  • Performs payroll configuration tasks, as required by new or changing business requirements.
  • Collaborates with SAP Developers and other SAP HCM Analysts to debug system issues and help deliver custom development and enhancements.
  • Leads unit, integration and user acceptance tests for SAP/SF functionality. Develops test plans and test cases, stages test data, and documents test results.
  • Partners with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Technology, and Field Services to deliver solutions and optimize payroll systems and processes.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Minimum 3 years supporting SAP ECC/S4 Payroll or Success Factors Employee Central Payroll and BSI Tax Factory.
  • GL Posting knowledge and experience required
  • Experience with full lifecycle projects and upgrades/releases
  • Understanding end-to-end payroll processing, tax laws, and labor laws
  • Payroll Configuration, Schemas, PCRs, Functions, Operations, etc.
  • Experience working in construction or industrial industries is preferred.
  • Experience supporting unions is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB CONDITIONS:
  • Travel for project assignments may be required based on Company needs.
