Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is in need of a Full Stack Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and enterprise technology platforms
* Build and support microservices using Java and Spring Boot to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions
* Develop and enhance RESTful APIs, front-end applications, and backend services to support business and customer needs
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality features
* Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and release planning
* Support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts to improve software delivery, deployment, and operational efficiency
* Assist with dependency management, milestone planning, release readiness, and risk identification throughout the development lifecycle
* Analyze and troubleshoot application, integration, and data quality issues to ensure system stability and performance
* Contribute to system integrations, data flows, and cloud-based solutions that enable real-time and accurate information exchange
* Promote continuous improvement through code quality, process optimization, and adoption of engineering best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or related development role supporting enterprise applications
* Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for developing scalable microservices and backend services
* Experience designing and developing REST APIs and integrating distributed systems
* Proficiency with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
* Experience with CI/CD tools, automated deployments, and modern software development practices
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within Scrum or Kanban environments
* Ability to support technical planning activities, including scope definition, dependency management, risk assessment, and delivery coordination
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements and technical solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and business teams
* Preferred experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, Snowflake, data quality analysis, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
