Job description

CDL Class A Or B Utility Driver

Our Joliet location is looking for a CDL Class A or B utility driver to join our union team. We've been around for over 70 years, and this could be the last job you ever have to apply for. Schedule: Night shift starting between 1am and 4am. Starting hourly rate: $29.00 an hour. As a member of Teamsters Local 710 union, your health and welfare benefits will be provided through the union. 401k is provided by the company.

You provide:

  • Trained in preferred oil, chase, bulk, fat & bone, and removal of grease trap material from customers sites utilizing 2 inch to 3 inch pump hoses.
  • Clean up waste spills and overflows.
  • Preparing truck/tools and conducting pre/post trip inspections.
  • Complying with e-log requirements and using tablet.
  • Maintain truck log and comply with DOT rules and regulations.
  • Fully participate and support all safety initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Valid US Class A or B CDL driver's license with acceptable driving standards.
  • Tanker endorsement required prior to onboarding.
  • DOT certified medical card.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to at least 100 lbs.
  • At least 2 years CDL driving experience.
  • Ability to drive manual transmissions.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
