Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Onsite).
Summary:
We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support a high-availability broadcast and media production environment. This role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production systems, infrastructure, and workflows that support live operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and administer broadcast and production technology systems
* Troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
* Implement technology upgrades and workflow improvements
* Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
* Partner with production and business teams to deliver reliable solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media production, or similar environments
* Experience with VMware or other virtualized infrastructure platforms
* Background supporting live production, broadcast operations, or other 24/7 critical systems
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with technologies such as Evertz, Grass Valley, Ross, Avid, Dalet, Vizrt, ENPS, or similar
* SDI, NDI, and/or ST 2110
* Newsroom, production, or media asset management systems
* Broadcast infrastructure and signal flow
* Networking, storage, Windows Server, and Active Directory
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong broadcast engineering foundation
* Experience supporting television, live production, sports, or media environments
* Comfortable working onsite in DFW
* Hands-on problem solver who thrives in operational environments
Note: Candidates with backgrounds focused solely on cloud, software development, databases, or enterprise IT without broadcast/media experience are unlikely to be a fit.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
