In this role, you will support the endtoend management, development, and execution of the global product calendar, innovation pipeline, and product marketing strategies across categories. You will ensure that product strategy strengthens the overarching brand narrative while driving growth and market share across key regions and retail partners. You will drive category and competitive analytics, concept development and product positioning and champion crossfunctional alignment to deliver ontime, highimpact product launches. This position requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong passion for beauty products, product marketing and new product development. 

The ideal candidate is a forwardthinking, innovative marketer who is agile, selfmotivated, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking, creative problemsolving, quantitative and qualitative analytics, and tactical tasks. Exceptional project management and prioritization skills are essential to meet deadlines while maintaining impeccable attention to detail. Strong collaboration orientation and communication skills as well as confidence working with stakeholders at all levels are critical for success in this role. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support the end-to-end product roadmap-including new launches, regional exclusives, and sampling programs-ensuring all initiatives align with overall brand strategy. 
  • Lead the product strategy timeline and workflow, driving weekly cross functional Product Marketing meetings with Product Development and Packaging. 
  • Stay ahead of market trends and category innovations, bringing forward insights that shape the innovation pipeline and long-term product vision. 
  • Analyze product and category performance against goals using POS and NPD/Circana data; develop tracking tools and dashboards to identify white space opportunities and optimize the existing portfolio. 
  • Oversee product testing needs from concept through naming and claims development in partnership with Product Development. 
  • Lead the Claims Review Process as the primary Product Marketing liaison with Unilever Regulatory & Claims, managing all testing requirements from concept to final approval. 
  • Support the Sr. Director in overseeing the clinical and consumer claims budget across all categories each season, ensuring spend aligns with product viability requirements and overall approval criteria. 
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to Product Development, with a focus on Core Franchises, brand purpose, and new product development. 
  • Facilitate category review sessions and guide Product Brief development to ensure alignment of product strategy across all categories. 
  • Oversee the development and delivery of new product launch concepts to senior leadership in partnership with Product Development. 
  • Conduct competitive pricing analyses and synthesize insights from Ecommerce, International, Retail, and Sales to support global pricing strategy. 
  • Support the creation and rollout of seasonal color story concepts and HG.com exclusives to ensure cohesive, onbrand storytelling. 
  • Drive insight led brainstorms with Brand Marketing to fuel ideation for new launches and core franchise growth. 
  • Partner with the Copy team to develop all product related communication, including product stories, naming architecture, packaging copy, benefits, and claims. 
  • Manage the creation and distribution of MPF documents to align 360 go to market teams on key product messaging. 
  • Track and evaluate product launches and overall portfolio performance, identifying learnings to inform future strategy. 
  • Act as a key marketing partner to International, Sales, and Visual Merchandising on assortment planning, ensuring global alignment while supporting regional needs. 
  • Oversee creation of Launch Bulletins, press sample allocations, and distribution lists. 
  • Support development of retailers and B2B marketing presentations and collateral. 
  • Assist Product Development with consumer surveys, interviews, and testing protocols to inform category strategy, uncover performance insights, and strengthen product positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing within the beauty industry; luxury experience strongly preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field 
  • Deep passion for product, especially within cosmetics and skincare 
  • Exceptional communication skills; a natural collaborator, relationship builder, and highly organized team player 
  • Demonstrated success leading cross functional teams and managing complex workflows 
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking performance, interpreting data, and generating actionable insights 
  • Highly adaptable, resourceful, and forward thinking, with the ability to navigate a fast paced environment 
  • Global perspective with experience supporting international markets or global product strategies 
  • Experience in innovative, fast paced startups or indie beauty brands is a plus 
  • Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time

The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
