ABOUT THE ROLE

The Facilities Associate is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the UAN Facility. This associate will perform basic maintenance and facilities duties within our distribution center.

Helping heroes makes you one too. This is your chance! Helping nurses, therapists, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals feel comfortable and look great as they work miracles large and small.

HERE’S THE GOOD STUFF

  • Base pay starts at $17 an hour
  • Earn $2.00 more/hour for weekend shifts
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, as needed

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Responsible for minor building maintenance repairs
  • General warehouse cleaning and organizing
  • General maintenance and preventive maintenance around the facility
  • Vendor/contractor liaison work
  • Responsible for keeping warehouse organized and cleaned
  • Assisting with projects such as reconfiguring buildings, moving office space, and other light facilities functions 
  • Assist with the inventory and maintenance of existing furniture and equipment 
  • Assist with the set-up of meeting rooms: furniture, chairs, tables, projectors, easels, flip charts, white boards, etc.
  • Required to operate various types of power equipment

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • Previous custodial experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility required (1-5 years)
    • Motivation, Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Teamwork, Customer-Focus.  
    • General knowledge of hand tools 
    • Strong organizational skills 
    • Working knowledge of MS Office 
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks 
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

     

    IT’S A PHYSICAL JOB

    • Walk up to 5 miles a day
    • Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time
    • Crouch, kneel or crawl (occasionally)
    • Lift, push or pull up to 40 pounds
    • Be able to handle noisy conditions
