Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in day-to-day oversight of assigned terminal, airfield, and landside projects under the PM/CM IDIQ agreement.
  • Assist in managing project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, executive briefings, and dashboard updates using Unifier, Procore, or P6.
  • Coordinate project meetings, Page Turns, design reviews, OAC meetings, and working sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review design submittals, plans, specifications, and technical packages for completeness, accuracy, constructability, and compliance with DFW, FAA, TSA, ADA, and code requirements.
  • Lead Bluebeam-based Page Turn sessions to identify design discrepancies, track comments, and ensure alignment between designers, contractors, and airport end users.
  • Support sustainability and LEED-related reviews, including materials verification, energy-efficient design considerations, and documentation.
  • Conduct site walks, safety observations, and progress inspections to verify installation quality, compliance, and adherence to contract documents.
  • Monitor construction sequencing, phasing, airport operational impacts, and stakeholder coordination needs.
  • Support resolution of field conflicts through RFIs, design clarifications, and coordination between the design-builder, SMEs, inspectors, and EORs.
  • Assist in managing contractual obligations, scope development, procurement activities, and change management workflows.
  • Review and validate pay applications, schedules of values (SOVs), change order requests, cost estimates, and contractor proposals.
  • Track budget performance, funding allocations, and financial reporting in accordance with DFW and MAP team standards.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, design packages, progress photos, meeting minutes, logs, and closeout records.
  • Use Unifier, Procore, Bluebeam, and P6 to maintain accurate, real-time project data.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with DFW Airport divisions, regulatory agencies, consultants, and contractors to support permitting, approvals, and operational planning.
  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders to support design development, sequencing reviews, passenger experience considerations, and operational continuity.
  • Support conflict resolution by ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Perform routine safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA, DFW, and MAP team requirements.
  • Support quality assurance activities including field verification, materials confirmation, and inspection coordination.
  • Monitor compliance with design standards, airport guidelines, and contract documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting capital construction or aviation/transportation projects.
  • Experience with design-build and/or design-bid-build delivery.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Procore, Unifier, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP or CMIT certification (or actively pursuing; preferred).
  • Experience working within an airport, transportation authority, or large public-sector owner environment.
  • Knowledge of FAA, TSA, ADA, building codes, and airport-specific regulatory requirements.
  • OSHA 10/30-hour training or related safety credentials (preferred).
  • Experience with LEED, sustainability practices, and energy-efficient design principles

Compensation:

Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)
